Our team have been hard at work developing an upgraded feed system for the Advance ASA-EDGE walking-foot machine for sewing SEG/Keder. The original machine works great, but based on customer-feedback and real-world experience, we knew we could make it better. If it ain’t broke…we can still improve it!
What is the Advance ASA-EDGE?
The Advance ASA-EDGE is an adapted walking-foot sewing machine specially designed for use in the event graphics industry. It is a great entry-level alternative to our automated Advance conveyor systems for companies with limited space or less intensive production requirements.
Even inexperienced sewers can produce great results with minimal training required, as the guides and attachments ensure everything stays in line. There are multiple attachment options available to suit a range of applications including hemming, attaching various sizes of Keder/SEG (9-15mm), and pole-pocket sewing. These can be swapped out easily using our quick-change system.
The ASA-EDGE also has automatic functions including thread trimming, auto footlift and back-tack for a hassle-free sewing experience.
What have we updated?
The machine itself retains all its features, but we have updated the Keder/SEG feed system. The new setup provides increased control and ensures even feeding. The old system worked, but with this version, we’ve made it even easier to produce perfect results with minimal effort.
