Product Information
The Rasor SW12M is the new generation of bench cutting machine. Launched on the market only recently, the SW12 features new “Monster series” motor housing.
The difference between the SW12M and other Rasor bench cutting machines that the motor housing is held by a central foot fitted behind the blade in central position. This system spreads the shearing stress and moves the machine through the fabrics on both sides of the cutter. This ensures that cuts are perfectly straight and smooth.
The knife is half-free on both sides to avoid winding problems even with tough fibres. The SW12M is ideal for cutting composite materials like glass fibre and Kevlar, or any soft material up to 50mm thick.
The impressive 350Watt motor combined with a bronze/steel coupling gear creates a very high torque. Combined with the slow RPM of the knife, this machine is powerful enough to cut even rubber materials and plastic based materials such as carpets and industrial flooring.
The push button sharpening stone allows the knife edge to be sharpened in less than 10 seconds without disassembly. SW12M…just over the limits.
