Product Information
This latest model in the OPTIMA series is a truly revolutionary hand-held cutting machine. This model represents the highest level in technology ever reached before for a cutting tool of such a small size.
Despite its small size and weight the OPTIMA 703 reaches a power of 150 Watts, which combined with a bonze and high resistance steel gear coupling generates an impressive cutting torque. RPM is now 1500 for ultra-fast cutting.
The Rasor OPTIMA 703 can cut any kind of soft material up to 18mm thickness. For this reason, it is widely applied for use with textiles, technical fabrics, and composite materials.
The high torque means this machine can also cut rubber or plastic base materials for carpet and flooring applications. The motor housing is now PTFE coated for heat reduction with an aggressive “look”.
The steel foot is small and strong to allow very precise and easy cutting of straight or curved sections. The push button sharpening stone sharpens the knife edge in less than 10 seconds without disassembly.
The new circuit board includes a glass fuse which can easily be replaced without disassembling the shear and the new fixed protection is in transparent plastic to give better visibility during cutting operations.
