Product Information
The model GRT12DT is a three-phase cutting unit suitable for cutting thick technical fabrics and composite materials.
Thanks to the double carbide counter-blade, the GRT12DT can cut in both directions (through an inverter). This unique feature allows you to save time in cross-cut processes.
The three-phase induction motor is balanced and noiseless. It does not require any maintenance so can easily be used for continuous 24 hours-a-day production process. This type of motor combined with the high-quality bronze/steel couplings ensures the cutting unit is reliable and durable.
The 8-edged 120mm knife can cut up to a thickness of 50 mm including multiple layers. High torque combined with a slow RPM of the knife means this cutter can even be used on rubber and plastic based materials for applications such as carpets and industrial flooring.
The push button sharpening stone allows the blade to be sharpened in less than 10 seconds without removing the knife. The aluminium base is Teflon® coated to reduce friction with the material and can be installed on sliding rails within a small space.
The GRT12DT is ideal for transversal cutting and is arranged with an anchor flange to be easily adjusted on a fixed or automated hanger. Powerful and bi-directional cutting makes the GRT12DT the perfect solution for the most complicated O.E.M application.
