Sewbotics® is the robotics division of AE Sewing Machines, combining Universal Robots collaborative robot arms with industrial sewing equipment to automate repetitive textile manufacturing processes. Trademarked in 2018 and delivering our first cobot project in 2021, Sewbotics® now develops bespoke automation systems that improve productivity, consistency and precision while reducing manual input. Not every textile process can be automated, but where robotics can add value, our aim is to remove repetitive tasks, support skilled operators and help UK manufacturers overcome labour shortages and compete more effectively with overseas production. Every project is different. Our team designs each Sewbotics® system around the application, process and production requirements of the customer.
