Increased Productivity
The best way to demonstrate this is to show you! Traditional upholstery trestles will help you get the job done, but it will take far more time and effort than it needs to. Small inconveniences and breaks in workflow can really add up over the course of a work day, and even more so over the year.
Decreased Energy Requirements
This figure refers to lower operator energy expenditure required when working with Rexel pneumatic upholstery lifting tables compared with working on traditional upholstery trestles. It's easy to see the difference in the above video! As with the productivity statistics, it has been proven through real-life comparisons across multiple factories. Removing unnecessary exertion allows operators to focus more on attention to detail and quality results. It also reduces the risk of fatigue towards the end of shifts.
Workplace Safety
As well as reducing fatigue that can lead to accidents, the ST-3 range has safety systems in place to ensure workplace safety compliance. This includes a hydraulic anti-bounce brake to keep the table steady and prevent the workpiece from tipping, and an automatic block system to ensure that if the connection is cut, the table doesn’t fold.
Ergonomics
The table uses a height positioning system that makes it easy to set the ideal height. This allows the operator to start work at a comfortable height without wasting time on time-consuming height adjustments. It also removes the risk of back injuries from repeatedly bending down.
Ease of Use
Operating Rexel’s pneumatic upholstery lifting tables couldn’t be easier. They are raised and lowered using foot controls so you don’t even need to down tools to adjust the height. This means that once delivered, you can get to work straight away with no training required.
Configurations
The Rexel ST-3 range includes a huge range of different subclasses and configurations to ensure there's a suitable option for any upholstery manufacturer. This includes smaller options such as the ST-3 MINI for small boutique manufacturers and various different tabletop and attachment options. Our team will be happy to discuss this with you if none of the options shown on our website quite matches what you're looking for!
