This is especially true as the Juki coverstitch machines can be used with 3 or 4 threads in a width of 2.5 mm to 5 mm as well as the chain stitch with 2 threads. The Juki coverstitch machine creates a twin- needle effect with two lines of stitching visible on the front of a garment, whilst on the inside the machine overlocks the ends to prevent from fraying and ensure a smooth and hardwearing hem.
